This is a discussion on External nofollows within the General Discussion forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; i have a question concerning the external nofollow option if i activate this, does this interfere with google adsense links ...

    i have a question concerning the external nofollow option
    if i activate this, does this interfere with google adsense links so bots won't visit them?

    Bots don't visit Google adsense ads anyway. They are generated by JS, and bots ignore JS.

    hmm then why is this function deactivated by default?

    I wouldn't think External links would affect Page rank at all, not on your site anyway.

    It's not essential, but it is a very useful and easy feature for preserving PageRank and preventing PageRank from being diluted among external links.
