Exploit.PDF-20317 in vBSEO 3.5.0 Release date: May 2, 2010

Hi,

My ProtectMac AntiVirus gives a warning after downloading the vBSEO 3.5.0 Release date: May 2, 2010:

Exloit.PDF-20317 detected accessing /Downloads/vbseo_3-5-0_gold_prerelease_cc5a9d3b65.zip

Can I ignore this warning or is there something wrong with the file?

Hello,

A few people have reported this. It is a false-positive. Oleg re-scanned everything after the first report.

There must be some function/etc that looks like a trojan code block to these scanners.

Clam for mac is picking up 3.5.1 as well. It appears to be linked to the clam av db if that helps you guys get it cleared with them.
Exploit.PDF-20317 is the tag.

I am experiencing the same issue with 3.5.1.

Edit: btw, removing the .pdf and reuploading the zip file sort the problem.
