Okay, I have followed everything you have said. I have noticed 2 things since all these changes.

    1) The amount of spam has increased - although this seems a widespread vBulletin problem.

    2) The spiders visiting and indexing my forum have dropped. I was checking the sitemap, and compared to previous visits, it seems a ghost town. I had hundreds of Googlebot visits before, now i have no more than 10 - the same goes for all bots. Is this to do with my .htaccess? This is what I have:

    Code:
    # Allow Archiver
    User-agent: ia_archiver
    Allow: /

    User-agent: Slurp
    Crawl-delay: 60

    User-agent: *

    Disallow: *.php
    Disallow: *.js
    Disallow: *.jsp
    Disallow: *.cfm
    Disallow: *.asp
    Disallow: *.html
    Disallow: *.htm
    Disallow: *.aspx
    Disallow: *.cgi

    Disallow: /includes/
    Disallow: /install/
    Disallow: /customavatars/
    Disallow: /archive/
    Disallow: /sitemap/

    Sitemap: http://www.adminfuel.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz
    Any help?
