eAccellerator

Has there been a general consensus regarding eAccellerator?

1) Can you use it alongside Zend or ionCube?
2) If you do - do you get the caching benefits it provides?

eAcc shows me significant performance over my zend studio installation. I haven't tried out ionCube at all, but I haven't tried to have both the zend Opt. running alongside eAcc.
