Domain Change Ramifications

So what are the ramifications of changing the domain name of a site? Will all the links currently out there change with domain name change? Is their a rewrite I could put in to forward links?

Will google not like it?

You can setup 301 redirects to forward all traffic from the old domain to the new, but Google will take some time to re-index.

But, if the site is just one month old then would it really matter?

I would also recommended to redirect it if your site since 1 month or less it's just 2 lines in your old site .htaccess
