does vbseo automatically do 301 redirects?

this may sound like a stupid question so i apologize in advance

i searched for "auto redirects" and "301 redirects" and i could not actually find a thread that could answer this question.

question:

When a thread title changes, i see that vbseo does an auto redirect. Is this a 301 redirect?

I just want to be 100% sure.
