Does vBseo also work with vBadvanced and vBadvanced links directory?

Do you have any idea why I got a database error when I first tried it though? It made some mention of "duplicate entry" or something like that.

I guess I can try and do it manually, but that just seems like it'll be a big pain.

What exactly did the error say?

Edit: Should I just try the syles and templates / replacement variable manager?

I'm not sure why does it happen, you should try to do it manually then. You can also copy template into your text editor, perform search and replace operation and copy it back to vB admincp.

Ok, I'll go grab the appropriate templates and put them in notepad and try it. Will post back once I've done it.

When I try and reinput the text that I've changed in my text editor it gives me this message when I try and save the template:

"A template named adv_links_directorybit_level1 already exists.

If you click 'Save' the existing template will be overwritten."

But if I click save and look at the template my changes are not saved. Now what do I do to fix that? :(

Update:

I reuploaded one of my old styles before I did all these changes and after reuploading it for some crazy unknown reason the stuff was fixed.

In other words, my search and replace thing worked but only after I uploaded a new style.

You can change "displaylink" to something else in right part of CRRs for that.

Well, actually I was talking about the "Recent Vidz" module on the front page (beneath the log in box).

But I think you're right. I did have to upload a seperate php file called "hotlinks.php" to help get that module to work on the front page (It takes the newest 5 links in the video directory and displays them there).

So does that mean I need to go into the php code and add that little string of code that I had to place in the links directory php files to get it to show up?

Ok, I had upgraded GamingVidz to the newest version of vBulletin and upgraded links directory at the same time... unfortunately now that means links directory is not vBSEO'd anymore.
