does upgrading vbseo erases your current settings?

I see that vbseo is on candidate 4 and i was thinking that once it goes gold. Does upgrading to the latest vbseo erases your current settings?

No vBSEO settings are stored within datastore and during upgrade process settings are auto retrieved. However we always advise to take a backup of all your settings before the upgrade process within vBSEO Control Panel
