    Disable Seo

    Hi all,
i have imported all ftp and the whole db from a server to another one server,
i have 7 days (now only 2) for test my new server, before the mouvement of the domain but with seo enabled, when i try to connect in my "new" forum, a 404 Not Found error is showed , i have only the home vba access, but if i try to loggin in from my home, i always not loggated.
If i try to see my FORUM home page (with the server ip, e.g ) a 404 not found error is showed..... if i try
    Code:
    serverip.com
the home page is showed ok .....
If i try to go in my admincp index, is showed only the login page, but if i try the login, a 404 is reshowed..... i think that is Seo that block me.
Is possible to deactivate SEO without access to the vbseocp.php?

    Hello,

yes, you can remove .htaccess file and includes/functions_vbseo.php file to disable vBSEO temporarily.

Do you have URLs still rewritten or you are getting 404 error for links like forumdisplay.php?f=xx ?

I don't know if my url is still rewritten, but i have disable Seo in all 2 sites, the old, and the new.....

I'm getting the 500 error, if i try (after delete the .htaccess and includes/functions_vbseo.php) to go in admincp (before, in admincp, the login page was showed, no Now) .

    what is my problem?

At this point, i don't know if is caused by Seo.

In case if you have removed those files, the problem must be related to something else. Probably you have another .htaccess in admincp folder, try to remove it as well.

Now, i've tried to re-add the .htaccess and functions_vbseo.php , with these files a 404 error is showed, if i remove these files, a 500 internal server error is showed......

    What is possible ?

If necessary, i can send you the ftp access to my new server for looking if there's any other problem :( .

    P.S.
The old server is again active, i try to access in my new server with the server ip, the old and the new, are active, the new one, is in waiting of the totally transfer of the domain.

    Hello,

in case if you are moving the server, I'd suggest to get your forum working without vBSEO first to exclude all non-vbseo issues and then trying to re-enable vBSEO.

Yes, or (if you have already moved it) you can uninstall vBSEO on the new host.

Yes, but then if you have forum running correctly without vBSEO you can open a support ticket here and we'll make sure that you have vBSEO running again.

they mean if your forum isnt showing online with vbseo installed, turn vbseo off temporarily and create a support ticket with the necessary information, and they will fix it for you.

Perfect, thanx , but i have already followed the Oleg details:
Yes, or (if you have already moved it) you can uninstall vBSEO on the new host.

I have uninstalled Seo, now i make a new dump and re-try to import the DB + FTP Files. :(
If don't work, i will lose my forum(1 day to the final domain transfer) , because i can't go back on the old hoster .

    Now, i have 2 questions:
    1) With Seo uninstallation, i will lose seo's future performance (when i will reinstall it) on the new server?
2)I want to open a ticket, but if don't work with a dump cleared of Seo , there's any other problems, not caused from Seo. (And Here, i have a big problem for know what is that won't work). :(
