/Directories/ Vs .html
Hi,

I noticed the VBSEO forums use a /directory/ format for their mod'ed post URLs. eg. /f2/seo-software-6657/

as opposed to the default .html URL structure. eg. /f2/seo-software-6657.html

Any reason for this preference? Better indexing results?

It's more or less to test to see if keywords in a directory are seen more favorably than keywords in a filename. I don't think we have any data available to support one versus the other.
