Since upgrading to vb4 my forum url is forum/forum.php How do I change that back to just forum/?
Also how should file not found be set? Is it ok to have it redirect to the home page?

1) enter admin cp, vboptions -> forumhome options, and enter 'index' instead of 'forum' in the first block
2) backup index.php (index.php.bak)
3) rename forum.php to index.php
4) remember to do steps 2+3 EVERY time you upgrade vb, as it will over-write index.php again.
Using a full 404 script is preferred, sending a 404 header is 2nd best, and redirecting to the homepage is the worst choice.
