1) I'd prefer not to have the version of vbSEO I'm running displayed in the footer. My concern is that if a security patch comes out and I'm not on the ball, I have it all right there for the world to see. A lame attempt at security, but nonetheless...

2) I'm also interested in changing the text a little bit - just because I like to be different - even just re-organizing it to say vbSEO provides all of the content relevant URLs. It gives you guys a little variance and my pages are at least a little bit different than everybody else's. Or perhaps you might suggest other desired anchor text to customers like me.

3) I'm also thinking about CSS and the footer layout - I'm of the mindset that you guys will be OK with anything as long as it's at least as prominent as the default, but I thought I'd ask before I spent any time on it.

You are probably not aware that you have the ability to remove the vBSEO version #:

I don't think vBSEO could have many security holes if any, it's built on and into vbulletin, so if there's any security holes, they'd be in vbulletin

Every time I come up with a suggestion, I find out it has already been implemented! I can't tell you how many times I've almost posted, only to find that the feature is already there.

I looked there but there is no config_vbseo.php in the includes folder

Without config_vbseo.php vBSEO will not function so it is over there. Please check again.

Whenever I use a Not Linked selection the whole text gets linked instead of one word.

Surely Not Linked means exacly that?

Any ideas?

As the word says it the non-linked versions are text only versions.

I suggest you to open a ticket and quote your config.
