Consolidating Subforums to Parent Forum

Hi There,

When I set up my forums I made way too many sub forums. It looks confusing and I have decided I want to consolidate these in to the parent forums.

My forum is set up like this:

-main forum
---sub1
------------subsub1
------------subsub2
------------subsub3
------------subsub4
------------subsub5
------------subsub6
------------subsub7

Now I want to go to the parent sub1 forum and move all subsub1-7 posts in here and delete subsub1-7

Problem is that all posts in subsub1-7 are indexed and the URLs have the subsub name in them.

So how do I do that and 301 the whole lot so I do not lose links and indexing for all those posts?

Threads will auto-301.

Forums, you can 301 manually with a CR as per:
Renamed Category and forums - redirect
where 'new' is the parent you are moving to.
