Your config.xml is writable. Don't forget to update permissions after you finish updating the configuration for security purposes.

Am I supposed to change this? My dashboard does not look like the demo dashboard. Any help is much appreciated!

    Hello,

When you are done configuring, you should chmod your /vbseo/resources/xml/config.xml file to 644 (or 444 on some php as cgi systems). If neither 644 or 444 work, you should contact your host and ask what the correct setting is.

To make your file writable again (to change settings in the future) you should chmod it to 666. The file should only be writable while you are in it, for security reasons.

This can be done by right clicking in most FTP clients on the file.

Regarding the demo dashboard, please be more specific about what you are seeing/missing. If you are referring to the search tracker, make sure you've installed our LiveStats product.vBSEO LiveStats v 1.1 Released
