    5. Vbseo used to be confident and it would not delete other threads eg. zoints seo, instead it got discussed and then closed. Things have changed.
As I said in the thread located in the refback link below, this is not a standard practice in our forums. A staff member moved it to the private forums awaiting further instructions from the admins. I've now moved it back to the public forums.
    6. vbseo does not have not set a clear communicated road map of the future. About a year ago they talked about supporting other products such as cms portals etc. Have not heard anything about it since, which is a shame. A clear communicated road map would have solved this.
I agree. This will be resolved ASAP.

You are posting right now in an open thread about comparing the two. So it was moved to a private forum. It's back. It's not a big deal to me. I don't think you and I are any different from what we want. We want good competition and a good product. I just don't think it's a very legitimate thing to say that because a thread was moved away from public NuSEO is the best solution to go with. I'm not trusting rewriting my urls to a software solution that has not proven anything to anyone. It works. That's about it. VBSEO has been very good at adapting to SEO and providing great tools to allow you to customize it how you see fit.

All NuSEO did was buy VBSEO, look at the feature set, and copy it. It's nothing innovative and has shown no one that it can be innovative.

Look - There are probably strong points in both products.

I'm not an SEO expert in any stretch of my imagination. I did read Aaron Wall's book, Watched the Stompin the Search Engines videos, plus a lot of forum reading in both black hat and white hat SEO and they all point to the solid fundamentals that VBSeo does out of the box.

But to get the real strength out of VBSeo you need to design your templates and skins with SEO in mind. You need static landing pages, category titles with keywords in them, RR's that utilizes your H1/2/3 tags, etc...

VBSeo provides this flexibility. Is it costly? Yes. But I've made my money back in adsense alone. Does it take more server resources? Barely, but if your host can't support your traffic you should move anyway.

VBSeo community is fantastic and I've learned more basic SEO stuff here than anywhere.

I love VBSeo and it's proven it's worth.

Coming from a webmaster that owns both products, so far NuSEO looks very promising, there's no need to dismiss it due to early flaws.

Funny, he fixed the first redirection flaw already - Elfmage, you are still missing the "?posted=1" version of the thread above LOL.
Of course he's going to fix it. I don't see whats so funny here.

    Regards,

You are right, I got carried away by the waves of the latest posts. It's neither part of my philosophy (or the company's) nor a good example for my staff members. My apologies.

    Now, let's move on.
