Is there any chance you might be coming out with one that does not mention vB? Rather than "SEO by vBSEO 3.0.0 © 2007, Crawlability, Inc.," just SEO by Crawlability, Inc.?![]()
No - we did not plan on changing them.
I will give the affiliate link a try...
Hopefully I will see some conversion. If I do not, I will definitely be changing back to plain text.
Consider adding plain text as option in vBSEO CP. Editing a file like this is always a pain in the a$$ and should really be an option in the CP of the module..
Excellent, I choose #10. Thanks for giving a means to edit it without breaking code.
Question. I just signed up for /aff and filled in my 4 digit numerical value in the acp for vbseo. At the bottom of my footer I have my own lil' copyright (as phrased by vb engine). I'd like to put that and vbseo copyright on the same line rather than the current situation of having them on seperate lines, casuing my site to expand slightly. Can this be done?
Hello,
you can insert <!--VBSEO_COPYRIGHT--> into "footer" template to define location of copyright message.

Thank you Oleg there it was![]()
I have a question. In my footer I will be putting the "copyright" and "powered by" stuff in an image rather than plain text. The reason is: If someone finds a vulnerability in vB or one of the Addons I use, they won't be able to find my forum on Google if they run a search for vB forums. I wanted to do the same with the vBSEO copyright stuff, but it seems like I might be on thin ice there. So I'd rather ask first.
Am I allowed to put an image with the copyright text rather than plain text? The text on the image is absolutely readable and will be linked to vBSEO.com
And if so - how and where do I do that without breaking something? lol
Unfortunately we donot have an image version however you can hide the version number you are using. Please check Hidden vBSEO Config Options for more information.

Awesome thanks!
Jelsoft allows the copyright to be an image?
Any chance someone has a link to that announcement?
