Changing locations of forums, AND upgrading! Need tips!!

Hi everyone,

I have a site running vBSEO 3.3.0 RC2 and Vbulletin 3.7.2 Patch Level 1.

I want to upgrade it to publishing suite, along with the latest version of VBSEO.

I will be moving everything also from the /forum directory into the / directory since it includes CMS and all.

My question is: Will this upgrade go smoothly? What order should I do it in? Is there anything I need to be aware of?

ALSO!!! What is the best way to preserve my SEO rankings? Should I do a 301 redirect of /forum to / or what should I do?
