    Question Changing directories.

Recently, I have just bought the vBulletin Suite. Now, I have a perfect site in mind for it.

Problem: I already have a previous vbulletin database, and vbSEO is attached to that instance.

I want to change the url from boards.carlosx360.me to simply www.carlosx360.co

How do I go about upgrading the original vbulletin database and leaving the vbSEO intact. Thus, I do not lose SEO, and SE's crawling.

Changing directories , urls always have a negative effect. You need to create an .htaccess in your old forum directory to redirect all urls to new url.

I have changed directories before, I know the effects.

It begun as forums.carlosx360.com then it changed to carlosx360.net then forums.carlosx360.com in the year I had it. This was when there was no VBSEO. I was testing the waters. Then came the carlosx360.me domain - but the domain doesn't fit in my plan for globalization, anymore. It will, however remain a satellite.

The next few months CarlosX360 Co. Ltd. plans to go much more global. Much, much more.

I may even keep the instance where it is... I'm deciding.
