    Change forum URL's

    Hey,

I am currently using 'Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs' and this is what the links looks like on my forum:

    Forum: http://www.domain.com/forums/forums/10-Headquarters

    Thread: http://www.domain.com/forums/threads...sername-Thread!

Is there any chance to make the URLs look like this:

    Forum: http://www.domain.com/forums/10-Headquarters

    Thread: http://www.domain.com/forums/10-Head...sername-Thread!

Hope you understand what I mean.

    Thanks

    Hi Danny,

With vBSEO it is possible to structure the URL format in almost any required way, the only limitations being that there has to be a ID in thread URL's and the URL's have to have some identifiable format that vBSEO can work out if it is a Forum/thread/blog/cms-sections/cms-article etc...

I am not seeing you as a customer at the moment though so I am afraid I can't give you the specifics on how to do this but if you have recently purchased please feel free to send me your payment details and I will get your licence added.

Hey Ceri (I'm from the UK too )

Before I buy a license, I just wanted to make sure this was possible with vBSEO

Also, I forgot to mention I am on VBulletin 4... so is what I wanted still possible?

    Thanks

In that case Welcome to vBSEO Danny, the more Brits the better

Yes it is definitely possible with vB4 the format you want is actually one of our preset's, but you can customize it a million different ways.
