Category Links are not working correctly..

I installed vbseo and the category links for each forum section do not go direct to that category section. Before I installed this, I could click on the category link and it would then go to a page that would just show that category. Now when I click on it, it just redirects the the same page (main page). What do I need to tweak to get it working again?

Hello, this is a vbseo feature. Disable "Direct category links" under seo functions if you do not like this behavoir to enabled default category view.

Ok great. Is there a reason I should leave it on? Is it a benefit for seo optimization?

It can help keep your main categories as the hompage.
But, you should never take away usability for something that is pure SEO. I personally find the feature annoying as well and do not run it on any of my persona sites.

I couldn't find this setting. I went to the SEO section and went under Direct Link and I disabled both options there but it still didn't work.

Also this messes up subforums... if you press a link to a subforum it will jump to the main forum page instead of whatever part of the subforum this is on.
