    Question Can I skip /content?

    My domain is http://www.amdforum.se. If you type in that url you automatically comes to http://www.amdforum.se/content

    Is there a way to skip /content and let the content be in just http://www.amdforum.se

    Yes, just enter in your domain name as the CMS home as outlined here:

    You can try putting

    Code:
    '^content/$' => ' /'
    in the custom redirect panel.

    that should only redirect
    content/
    and not effect your actual articles.

    just enter

    Code:
    '^content/$' => '/'
    into the Custom Redirect box.

    then visit
    site.com/content/

    if it redirects, you're golden.
    if not, remove it, and re-save your CP and report back that it didn't work.

    You have linked to the non-rewriten URL there... but that redirects to the correct format of

    http://www.amdforum.se/content/554-eu-fragar-medborgarna-om-vilka-fragor-som-ar-viktigast-for-eu-s-digitala-agenda.html

    which works fine see AMD Forum - EU frågar medborgarna vilka frågor som är viktigast för EU:s digitala agenda

    Thanks!

    But it seems to work or am I missing something? The article links still have /content in them. Is that correct?

    Since you are using CRR's to redirect forum.php to forum/ the it should automatically redirect to forum/

    P.S : It's redirect correctly in your forum

    Thanks Marco! Im just getting confused with all changes and settings to make, but it seems I have it the way I wanted now. I thought the change would affect the article links but its not.

    However, I do get some 404-errors sometimes saying that http://www.amdforum.se/forum/ not exists. Is this cacherelated? Sometimes it works. Sometimes not.
