Can I remove vBSEO copyright text from my CMPS front page?

Only the forum is affected by vBSEO, the two CMPS pages I have are not optimied by vBSEO.

My guess is no. If you look at the links on the side page for recent threads, the links are vBSEO optimized.

The copyright should be maintained on any pages processed by vBSEO, so this does include CMS pages.

Could you not opt not to have index.php processed in vBSEO admin knowing that any links will automatically be 301'd to the right URL?
That would remove the copyright.

Yes, you can do that by adding the script you want vBSEO to ignore to the 'Exclude Pages?' setting within the General Options Group in vbseocp.

Does the copyright have to be text, or can it be an image with a nice alt and title tag applied to it?

That would remove the copyright.

It's certainly not a good idea to keep old format URLs on your homepage. The idea is to update them and take advantage of the SEO improvements.

Then it stays.

I would like to know this too. I hate the location my seo copyright is in and would like to move it to a different location if possible.

You can specify the location by using this tag in your footer template:
