if you have /forum/subfolder, you can simply put an htaccess file in that directory with simply "RewriteEngine Off" in it.

That wasn't the question, .. I'm trying to disable a directory via vbseo, not at web server level, I don't even use apache.

Where is said directory in relation to your forum?

odds are it can't be done with vbseo.

yeah, again, the easiest thing to do is to turn off the rewrite engine. whatever web server software you're on probably can make a simply edit in httpd.conf and turn it off.

otherwise, you'll have to block every file one by one in vbseoCP

Sorry, i'm not familiar with ngix.

I'd suggest putting a ticket in. Oleg probably knows what to do right away.

    Hello,

you can simply put "dirname/" in "Exclude Pages| option in vBSEO CP and that should disable rewritting on all pages in that folder.
