    Broken member profile urls

I occasionally get broken member profile urls. for instance, here is one for the member hairdresser_jd

    http://www.salongeek.com%3cb%3e*%20the%20geekmber.php/?u=15906

I dont think its limited to members with special characters either.

    Can anyone shed some light?

    THanks!

    Hello,

how can I reproduce the issue? Both URLs seem to work fine for me (they are for 2 different users though).

This is what vbseo produces. The post previous to yours is what SHOULD be being produced.

This link looks strange, where is it located? (the link in member list looks correctly)

I generally see these in our moderator for when automatic posts are created for infractions or reports.

However it happens anywhere someone links to the member profile with the default vBulletin URL Tying http://www.salongeek.com/member.php?u=15906
in a post takes you to http://www.salongeek.com%3cb%3e*%20the%20geekmber.php/?u=15906

The part of that URL that doesn't seem to belong is this:

    %3cb%3e*%20the%20geek

    That converts to this:
    Code:
    <b>* the geek
It looks like the code that is missing from the url, that has been replaced with the code above, is this:
    Code:
    /me
Do you have some type of hack or replacement variable that uses this?
    Code:
    /me
