Branding and VBSEO

VBSEO has their website URL and name on every page that VBSEO optomizes.

Simply put, you are paying for advertising for vbSEO.
You are paying $149 for the right to be able to advertise VBSEO services.

This is ridiculous.

A branding removal option is in discussion for the future Ryan.

Future? Why not now? It's not exactly hard to remove the branding, less than two lines of code. :(

The license agreement you agreed to before purchasing clearly states that the vBSEO copyright notice must remain intact: vBSEO - Search Engine Friendly URLs for vBulletin and More

However, you can choose a non-linked copyright line. Info here: vBSEO Copyright Link

There are plans to offer a branding-free license in the future, but there is no known date that it will be available. (If you'd like to read previous discussions on the subject, a quick search for "branding free" will turn up quite a few old threads.)
