Automatically approve linkbacks with incoming traffic

Manually approving linkbacks can be a tedious task, especially when you get upwards of 100 a day. I generally only approve linkbacks that have two or more hits to a thread. Hits to a thread tells me two things: One, that the page is actually a page, and not a bot visiting links that it's made. Two, that the page linking to a thread is somewhat important depending on the amount of hits.

It would be nice to have a feature that automatically approves linkbacks with x amount of hits after x amount of time.

I liked the idea. We should be able to set a minumum traffic for approved linkbacks.

I don't think it is a good idea at all. When spammers discover this , they will start putting links and clicking those links and get their link published on your site.

For spammers, you can use vbseo's built in keyword black list. And you can filter them manually later if any missed.

To keep track of this it might be beneficial to send a daily report of added linkbacks. If the report contains a lot of the same site that appears to be spam, the site can be banned manually.

Regardless, a report mechanism that reports the number of linkbacks from specific domains would be useful anyway.

I've also been long requesting a automatic approval whitelist. I get a lot of linkbacks from sites like yahoo answers, and it would be very useful to always approve those linkbacks.
