    Archive Redundancy?

I've been running vBSEO for over 3 years now with quite impressive results. As I continue optimizing my site, I've started to wonder: isn't the vB Archive page entirely redundant for SEO? It seems like having an extra set of links to everything is sort of useless. My site has a mobile skin that auto-applies itself for mobile users, too, so the archive doesn't help them either.

Is there something I'm missing, or can I go ahead and remove that link from my footer?

    Thanks for any advice!
