Not sure if this is possible with Vbseo. If not, I guess maybe consider this a suggestion for future releases.

Want to append URLs with a string of text, if they appear in a whitelist of sorts.

Amazon for example

amazon.com -> '&tag=code-20'
amazon.de -> '&tag=code-21'

etc

This would be added to the end of the url, before the closing quotes of the href tag, so it is part of the url.

And, only done once, so a check to see if it's there before doing so would need to be in place.

Kinda like the vbseo rel="nofollow" functions, but adjusting the actual url.

Would make it real easy for affiliates or anyone else looking to track things in other people's systems to do so.

Maybe offer the options to append, prepend, prepend and then urlencode, etc in the vbseocp if its not available now and developed later.
