    Advice on our Forum

    Hello All!!

My friends and I are going to start a videocast on a bi-monthly basis. Our forum has been around for a VERY long time and has never gained any traction. Truth be told we work a lot and just don't haven't had much time to invest in posting on it and making improvements to it.

Still we want it to grow so we are following some of the advice we have gotten. Starting by moving these forums from a subdomain to their own URL. Currently they are at http://weartech.us but the feedback I got on that was mostly negative since .us is a hard to remember extension. I went to godaddy and found that http://weartech.net/ was available so I purchased it.

The videocast we will be broadcasting will be uploaded to wearetech.tv but the discussion will be held on our forum.

Do you all think I should use http://weartech.net/ as a portal to inform people about both the forums and the videos or should I redirect straight to the forums?

    I appreciate the feedback!!

Oh and how smoothly is the upgrade from VB 3.6.9 to VB 3.7? I might give it a try next week when I update our forum skin.

How much traffic do you get right now at your existing .us domain?

About the same as we did with the subdomain, 50 - 120 on any given day.
