Advantage of using Google Analytics via vbseo?

Hi. I already have the code for Google Analytics in the 'footer' of my VB template & this has been there for a while & seems to work fine. Having upgraded my vbseo, is there any advantage in removing that code & selecting the vbseo option instead?

vbseo adds more tracking and logging with advanced segments. Plus, there's no templates to revert on upgrade.
