Admin Member has forum issues with saving

I have a member that I have given admin access too. when he attempts
to edit/save forums in admincp, all he gets was a blank screen., but I do not have these issues when i log into his account.

    So i disabled htaccess

now the member is saying when he clicks on the admin link
it just goes back to home (no httaccess) but when I log
into his account to perform the same test, i still have no issues.

Is there something in htaccess that is causing problems to
begin with? Since the member is unable to edit/save forums.

vbseo doesn't run in the admincp area. You should contact vb support for further troubleshooting.

I was not referring to vbseo...

I am referring to htaccess which seems to control links...

I guess I could go a step futher, if I disable vbseo mod, and remove the htaccess
and if he can do anything, then it would be htaccess related....

and I have contacted vb, even started a discussion, everyone seems
to be blank on this one.

btw, everything in htaccess that I know of is VBseo related...

The default htaccess file has provisions in it which specifically ignore the admincp directory... Nothing runs.

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images)/

and so on simply don't parse in those folders.

It honestly sound like the users browser is the issue.

well I have removed the htaccess, and the member can not even get into admin now
via the admin link, he is just redirected back to home page.

He has said that he has already dumped his cache, and has used 3 different browsers.

Do you have anything relating to IP blocking in an htpasswd file?

    This is interesting:

htaccess file removed - he gets bumped back to home page

and I am allowed to proceed to admin area...

I do not have a htpass file....

proxy does not seem to work...but I can access just fine, why would I want to use
the proxy? you want him to try via proxy?

I have tired a proxy myself, once i attempt to click on admin link
it just logs me out of the forum, it does not proceed to admin.

You should disable vbseo to rule it out.

    rename./remove the htaccess file temporarily
disable the product via vbseocp.php general settings

If there is still a login issue, it is not at all related to vbseo.
