Acronym Expansion in VBSEO 3.5

I have been using the acronym expansion with great success, mainly to expand affiliated merchant names into linked affiliate links.

Now, I am still running 3.3.2 on VB 3.8.5 using the $seo_replacements array, VBSEO_AUTOLINK_FORMAT, while setting VBSEO_ACRONYMS_IN_CONTENT to 1 and VBSEO_REWRITE_KEYWORDS_IN_URLS to 0.

Is this feature still supported fully in 3.5? I am not going to be upgrading unless it is fully functional. Thanks!
