301 redirect Help

Hello,

Please give me the syntax for this 401 redirect...

http://www.sitename.com/talk/41 -- > http://www.sitename.com/talk/forumname/

I have around 20 url's woth page rank.. I need to do this since all of the have PR... I have replaced old script with VB and VBSEO.

Please let me know where to put this.. in htaccess or VBSEO Cp...

Hello Chandra,

you should add one rewrite entry per subforum in your /talk/.htaccess file (right after "RewriteEngine on" line):

RewriteRule ^41$ http://www.sitename.com/talk/forumname/ [L,R=301]
...
etc.
