    3.0 RC 5 htaccess file

Are there any major changes between vbseo 3.0 rc2 and vbseo 3.0 rc5 that would require me to replace the htaccess file? I have a custom file now and would rather not have to change things around if possible.

    thanks in advance

There are no changes, so you have nothing to do (with the .htaccess file).

Contained in the upgrade instructions for vb 3.5 and 3.6 there is a note:

Note: Ensure you upload a file named .htaccess (located in your 'upload' folder) to your forum root folder. In some machines, this file is not visible. If this is your case, find the htaccess.txt file in the 'docs' folder and (1) upload it to your root folder first and (2) rename it to .htaccess

I'm not sure why that note would be in the upgrade instructions if the new htaccess file is not necessary.

Because sometimes .htaccess file may change. Each time before upgrading make sure the .htaccess file didn't change so compare the current one and the new one.

I went ahead and upgraded to vbseo 3.0 rc5 there does not appear to be any problems.

This file has changed from 2.4 right? Does this new file need editing at all?
