Post Seems Adsense is your only source of Income.

Is Adsense your only source of income? this seems very scary from the posts ive seen about accounts being suspended, and almost impossible to get re-activiated because of something you did not do...

I read up on one site a while back, he said his forum was making
$100/150 per day, well he got hit by click spammers and his
account was shut off...that seems to be a big risk of putting
all your eggs in one main basket.

You would think adsense and others would have click spam software
that would only temp susspend an account until the potential click spamming is over, then turn back on the account.

it seems rather odd that you have to go out of your way to prove to them that you are not the one that caused it....

    any ideas on this?

I've been running adsense nearly exclusively in terms of cpc for over 3.5 years with 0 issues.

the people who get banned, 95% of the time there's good reason for it. 4%, they don't do anything about it but complain on forums. the last 1% actually handles it in the proper channels and gets the issue resolved, provided they can prove their case (be it server logs, etc)

That said, adsense is not my only source of income, but it is a good 60% of it.

Don't forget those of us who get banned after reporting it (abnormal click increases) ourselves, offer raw logs, root server access, free beer and cookies and everything else, and still remain banned.

I use Google Adsense because it pays the best. I also use Tribal Fusion, Valueclick, Auction Ads and Intellitxt while having YPN as a back up CPC program. I'm far from relying just on Adsense although it does make me the most money atm.

I use Google AdSense and have never had problems with it. I would never rely on it solely for an “income” as it can be up and down all the time. I also use Amazon, Auction Ads, LinkShare, DoubleClick Performics, and a fair amount of private advertising.

In the last 2 weeks $57, though adsense and around $70 through ebay.
I use to rely on google completely but by just adding something else I have not had to worry about not covering hosting fees.
It may be best to not listen to anything I say for advice. :spin:
