    Thanks, switzer and eric k.

switzer, I understand Pubmatic, Rubicon, and YieldBuild are supposed to automatically determine for each impression which ad network's ad will actually pay the most and serve that one. Does OpenX do that, or does it chain networks in an order you specify by entering what you think is each network's CPM?

    Thanks

Definitely good Johnny that you are joing communities to answer some questions :-).

Looks like good support and I think that support is getting more and more important.

I've been using rubicon for almost 9 months now and have been pleased with the results.

I'm glad it's been working for you, Loco. How much more are you making with Rubicon than you were without?

well I only run it on a few places, but I get a check every month
the thing with advertisers like this, I know rubicon takes 30% off the top, I'm sure if the other two are similar advertisers, they take some off the top as well.
So you'll get more money if you do the work yourself, but if you just want to test a few placements out and don't want to sign up on the dozen or so advertisers that rubicon covers, then give these programs a try.

In addition, if you use our free hosted version of OpenX, you can set the CPM that you are getting for each network, and OpenX will auction the impression to other advertisers. If the auction price is higher than the CPM for your ad, OpenX will serve the higher priced ad instead.

This helps lift your CPMs even farther. For more information, please contact me, or go to www.openx.org.

Yeh I'm using Pubmatic in this way but.... pubmatic script is preventing us from opening the ads in a new window.

This and other ongoing issues means we are probably going to drop Pubmatic as a provider soon.

    Support has been pitiful.
