Question Real vbSEO results - who has done this with a larger forums & adsense?

I think it would be nice to hear from anyone with a larger forum/community that has up wards or above 1 million posts and a whole lot of links in Google. I've been searching but so far I am seeing mainly people with newer forums or not a very large amount of threads/posts and links in Google report.

I was contacted about being a Beta tester for vBSEO, and while I really would have liked to be a part of that, I cannot afford to risk the revenue that my largest site produces via adsense should I lose the rankings & links that I have now. Sure, in time I would see them again and maybe better, but what about until that time... (Major losses)

Here are some of my own forum stats for my larger community
Over 13,000 unique visitors a day
    1.6 million posts and growing
    60,000+ members
Between 100,000-350,000 page views per day

My links/refs in Google flux from between 750,000 to 1.2 million currently. That is a lot of links and I actually do a lot of Adsense business in my archives so I am not even sure I want to get rid of it. Never has been a problem for me in the past nor do I feel I have been penalized for having duplicate content. (Actually triplicate if you consider the printthread area)

If this forum was newer or smaller, I wouldn't flinch, and I may very well use it / test it out on a few of my less than 500,000 post forums, but at one point in the past when I went to vbulletin 3.0 I had to move from one archive structure to another and I lost a huge amount of links that it took me literally 6-9 months to recover and get back to where I was..

I do firmly believe that the URL's and other features that vbSEO offers are very beneficial when it comes to rank but it is the risk of losing a lot of adsense $$ that concerns me... And for how long..

Please post your statistical experiences here with regards to links lost/gained, traffic changes, and how long it may have taken you to get back to where you were with indexed links.. Especially if you have a larger forum and adsense.

    Thanks,
    David

    Your questions are well recieved.

I wouldn't consider my site has "large" by any means but it is very quickly growing in that direction. And since I don't rely on my site income to hold me over I have decided to try out this product and am watching the results which I assume need to be compiled over time.

I have also gotten rid of the archive for dup/content purposes and want to really test out what happens when inside pages get PRs of 3 and up.

Yet I had to live with the drop in index pages number which I am still shaky about but after looking at other very large sites in my genre I am still hanging around their stats.

As far as incoming links I don't think vbSEO will adversly effect that very much if any at all, infact the more I think about it the more I think it's better for it.

I would love to know which site you run if you want you can PM me the URL and we can chat a bit. As I would love to hear what larger sites are doing.

    Anyways just my .02

So, I take it from lack of response that nobody has tried and tested out the affects on using vBSEO on a larger sized forum that derives a lot of income from adsense..?

Hopefully someone will come forward in the near future. I'd really like to use this, and I think it is on the money, but it is still too great a risk for my main forums.

How much are you making as in reference to "large"

We generate low x,xxx from adsense and haven't seen any changes yet.

Also haven't seen any traffic changes as of yet.

Well, our forum is 3 years old, has 200k posts, and since vBSEO was installed last month, the referrals from Google increased dramatically (3x, to about 1k per day). It didn't have a major impact on other SEs yet.

I'll post a review in the Reviews thread after a month or so when Google updates the complete index of our forum.

Anyway, I don't think vBSEO will damage your traffic in any way. But it's your decision to install it or not.

    @David,

We do have several large and active forums installed. All feedback has been very positive. We also get a lot of feedback from people saying that their AdSense revenues increase very nicely after installation. Example:

It took Google about 2-3 weeks to update its index with the new URLs. Installing vbSEO was the only thing I've done during that period, I'm certain because I went offline (for 3-4 weeks) few days after installing it.
