i used it... and i'm a few days away from going back to my old method. I had a far better CTR and more income with my placement vs the placement my adsense guy suggested.

Which was their suggestion for you? I recently got my hand slapped for running the random images above my leaderboard, so I switched to a 300x250 rectangle with a random image beside it, which is within policy guidelines. (All my ads are shown to guests only.)

Yeah, but I thought you always had it that way... I don't remember it being any different, other than the "illegal" image placement like I used to have.

nope, i used to have 1 ad under the first post.

they suggested to the right of the first and last post, as it is now. check the thread views.

Ah yes. I've tried that placement in the past as well, and it didn't work out.

here's some sample stats....
the inlineblock channel was the ad under the first post above the sig.

while i've only served the new version about 1/3 as many impressions for this month, the income is far more than triple... nearly 5 times.

i will be moving back to my old method shortly.
