    Invaild clicks

Not so long ago, I received an email from google saying they had to disable my account due to invalid clicks.

I never clicked the ads, so why they disabled my account I don't know. I've tried emailing them numerous times now, only to receive the same reply all the time.

Does this mean I won't be able to have google ads again on my current site? Anyone else experienced this?

As a side note, I have seen this advertising company - http://www.peer39.com/ .... anyone tried them?

    Regards Jason

    Anyone to comment on this?

If I were to sign another account up, then it would be disabled straight away -- correct?

I simply cannot believe that I cannot have google ads, it's beyond a joke.

    Regards Jason

I have not yet heard of anyone getting banned and then re-established, unfortunately.

I would not signup again. I suspect you would find the same result quickly.

I do not know much about the site you listed, but I'm sure you will find other ways to generate revenue whether it be other ad networks, affiliate programs, direct ad sales, etc.

Let us know who you choose and how it goes for you.

I know there are others here who have had the same experience. If so, please let Jason know a good post-AdSense direction to take that can yield some solid revenue.

Thanks for your reply Joe, much appreciated.

I will try that advertisng company I linked above, then let you all know if they are good or not.

Do you think it's ok to have ads at a site that has 221 members, or am I best waiting a little longer?

    Regards Jason

    Hi Jason,

I searched the Affiliate programs a bit and found the following informations (and I think the payment is better as Google pays in Dollar and other Affiliate programs in EUR)

-TradeDoubler: They have pay per click and pay per unique visitor (I guess that means that they pay for a visitor even if he dont clickts...payment is about 2-3 Euro Cents per UV)

-Affili.Net: Offers affilimatch (similar as Adsense) and pay 15 EUR Cents per click

-German Ebay: Has Relevance Ad and pay 15 Cents per Click plus Comission if somebody get registered

I think those 3 are from my point of view the best and I think the payment is fair.

I have not implemented them yes as I just signed up for those programs yesterday...will let you know how it goes!

Not necesarily, I've seen cases of people saying they bought a site from another one, and opening a new account without being closed.

My site has. We were banned two years ago for "asking to click on the banners" which we didn't but yeah, some members not part of the staff did.

In Dec 2007 we were invited to perform a speech in a Web Monetizing conference, in which a Google Adsense representative was present. So we opened our speech saying that Adsense would prolly cancel your account using any excuse they could find at hand, so webmaster must try direct selling, even for small money.

In front of a couple of hundred or more small webmasters, most of them g.a. affiliates, the representative reacted saying: "it must have been a mistake, I'll take care of your account to be reopened". And so it did, he sent us a user and a pass for g.a. and it's running now.

Well - that's one good way to get established. Unfortunately, it won't be available to most canceled account holders.

Bad news. To get my Google Account back, I simply signed up again. This only lasted a few days before I found myself blocked again. This is really disappointing. I really don't know what I've done wrong -- I just placed the ads on my site. Is it really my fault if guests continuously click the ads? (I don't think so!).

I tried contacting Google, but just receive the canned speech. Seems they don't care about anyone. That's the thing, some of these companies just get to big for there selves.

I run a tech site, now I am seriously going to struggle to pay everything myself. Especially since I'll need a VPS server soon, then a dedicated (hopefully ) Afterall, I still have a life to live, and other things to pay for. Hmm, guess I'll need to find a very good alternative. I'd appreciate if anyone has any good alternatives -- pay per click, preferably.

Yes, I've seen that. They list some bad advertising companies, who are just there to rip people off. (Not forgetting, it slows my browser down a lot when accessing the site for a few secs.).

I was just hoping some people are already using alternatives to Adsense and are happy.

EDIT: Hmm, these are using the same: http://www.socialdailynews.com/2007/...works-besides/

they probably banned your domain, not necessarily your account.
