If there is no ad_location template that suits what you want, you will need to add it to showthread/navbar/postbit templates depending on exactly what and where you want it to display.

[vBulletin 4] Adsense integration together with nice welcome message
Just replace the welcome text with a second Adsense code.
However I would recommend keeping the welcome text
