wow, that's horrible. With 50k unique a day, you should be seeing $500 -1000 a day EASY, even in this bad market.

My earnings are slowly increasing, over time here, going from like .16 a day, up to around $1.50 a day after a lot of template changes and modifications all around.

Will try to keep stuff rotating and fresh looking to see how it helps

Lucky me the account is named diferently and pays to another person.

But if, even though, the site's account gets cancelled, I won't be losing a fortune.

2 years ago I easely earned 500 a day but it's going down and down and down..
Currently an average of 1000 clicks a day paying 60 - 70 dollars :-(
And at the moment my traffic is exactly the same as 2 years ago.. I really really can't figure out why :-S

you're probably not converting well. 6-7 cents a click is NOT a good average.
if you run multiple units, kill them in favor of 1 per page.
if you show to members, turn it off. only show to guests.

this will reduce your impressions, thus impriving your CTR, which in turns up your conversion rate, which makes the bid for your page more.

All very good suggestions but I all tried them before..
I know google is giving me the best paid results in the first advertisement on my site. So I'm currently running only 1 advertisement per page.
I tried running more ads but this only resulted in extremely low paying clicks on the secundairy ad unit. With multiple ad units my average is 0.02ct per click.

I also know that regular members can become blind for advertisements so I tested multiple times to remove advertisements for members and only display them to guest.
Everytime I tested this my CTR went up from 0.50% to 1.50%
The ammount of clicks and impressions went down but my earnings stayed the same.
So this method indeed increases the ammount I earn for each click but the total earnings stay the same..

I really wonder how google calculates the price of a click on my site..
2 Years ago they paid me up to a dollar for each click, nothing has changed on my site so I'm not sure why their price has changed...

If that's the case, not showing CPC ads to members is the way to go. Show them CPM

keep adsense for the guests and earn extra on cpm for the members. adsdaq.com and tribalfusion.com are 2 good places for cpm banners for forums.
