Google Adsense ad Placement

Hi there

I am trying to add google ads into my forum, i am really struggling looking thru all these threads as some of these threads seem to assume a bit of vbullitin knowledge ive tryed the deep integration thread and i had no idea with that and i tryed the vbullitning ad manager which didnt work.

So does anyone have any clear and simple instructions on where best to put google ads and some simple clear instructions of where to put code and what to paste where specifically without assuming a certain amount of knowledge for a simpleton like myself lol

There's no such thing as "best". Ads perform differently in different places on different sites.


An easy thing to do and which is a common option is to place 728*90 sized ads under the nav bar.


go to styles/templates in the ACP, and open up the navbar template.

at the very bottom add this:

save and close

Does anyone know how to get google adsense leaderboards to show in between forum threads? I'm talking about the screen right before an actual post is view.

there is a forum hack from vbulletin.org called vb ad managment

I've been trying for year now and still can't find a good ctr for my ads. Some owners put pictures next to block, but I think that is rather unsafe since that's against Goolge's rules. I've about given up
