Forum and AdSense

For those of you who use Google AdSense,

they just released a heatmap for forums...

And in my own experiencel; I used a skyscraper for ages at the right side but then moved it to the location under navigation bar as a leaderboard and one more leaderboard at the end of the thread.

It doubled my income from Adsense.

The heatmap says a skyscraper at the left side is most effective, but in my opinion, it would make your forum look really ugly, so it is not recommended.

my experience is though thatadsense after first post and then after every 10 is a good idea. Also experimenting with colours and blends and changing them once in a while is a grt way to draw attention and clicks.

what is your code in your template and in which template did you place it to implement this after first and after 10th placement of adsense?

put your adsense code in the postbit template right at the end.

Nobody's ever complained about that skyscraper on the left side to me.

I find that, right on the top of the thread is the best place, thats the only place I have gone into double figures with adsense, and should be going into three figures sometime next year.

Kall do you use adsense that place, if so how is compared to others?

I have one right below the navbar, and another in the footer. The top one is definately the best location.

No.. not adsense there. I use phpadsnew and run Comission Junction banners there.
