Question Does anonymous domain registration impact acceptance to affiliate programs?

Hi, wasn't quite sure where to put this or if it has been already covered....

Does anyone know if anonymous domain registration impacts acceptance into certain affiliate programs? i.e. is it something they look at when considering a domain for acceptance?

Ok thanks for the info. I've been accepted to some affiliate programs but rejected from many others. The best list of things needed I received from Target.com and I took care of everything I could on their list. Maybe my site doesn't have enough content or traffic or is not the type of site they want (it is pretty new).

Also I am sure some are rejecting because I am in NY though I've only had one or two actually say they don't accept NY based affiliates anymore (because of NY's wonderful new tax law aimed at getting internet retailers to collect NYS sales tax, but all it seems to me to be doing is making online retailers drop their affiliates who are based in NY).

Oh I forgot, the first thing that got me asking this question was I have seen some affiliate programs that say if the e-mail address you provide does not match an e-mail address in your Whois information they may not accept you into the program. I am guessing they are trying to verify that you are actually the domain owner.
