Controlling what kind of ads are shown?

As cool as context driven ads are. How can I influence what is shown and what is not?

I mean, for example: I have a thread about 'Six new Harry Potter Trailers'. Adsense now displays links with sexual content right above that thread.

Is there a way to shape the context of the ads a little? Sometimes the suggestions are far too offtopic...

    Need help fast, thanks!!

AFAIK, there shouldn't be ANY sexual content ads in the adwords system.

If you see these ads, you should click the "feedback" link in the adword display to report it.

At least, thats how it is in the US. perhaps german google has different views on adult content.

otherwise, all you can do is add those url's to the competitive ad filter.

Purposely "spamming" keywords around your ads is a huge no-no.

Do you have the vbseo section targetting on?

    Thanks for your quick reply!

There are a lot of adult oriented ads in there. I will have to observe it a little closer tomorrow.

Do you have the vbseo section targetting on?
I don't even know what that is, but I will check it out later! Thanks again.

OK, I already had this enabled. Do you have any further information on how this actually works?

    Thanks a lot!

it's simply an HTML comment that the adsense spider looks at to help point it in the right direction for what the page is really about.

You could always block the url's in your adsense cp.

I'm not sure if RR's will help, but you should add them anyways.
