    Better content driven adsense??

So ive put adsense in the following places:

under the NAVBAR (next my custom relevant placement)
    last thread on a page
    3 post on every page
    footer
    archives

im planning to put one in my navbar itself.....

My question is how can I make it content driven? If i have music area, sports area, dining area etc...how can i get the ads in the posts or threads of these seperate forums match the forums??

    Thanks.

That's too many. Just put them where they will perform. I can assure you that the footer and last thread one is just a waste of space. Don't kill your guests with adsense. In my experience one 336x280 under the navbar performs the best.

On top of that I just got a feed from Adsense stating this:

As you may know, our tips and guidelines mention that "users should only click on Google ads if they're interested in the services being advertised". While there are many precautions a publisher can take to avoid encouraging clicks on their ads, we've found that some implementations of the ad code can lead to accidental clicks that the publisher may not have been able to predict. Some implementations that could lead to accidental clicks include placing your ads:

    - In close proximity to Macromedia Flash games
    - Under pop-ups or download prompts
    - Near site navigation controls on your pages, such as drop-downs or menu links

Generally, we ask that you not place your ads near features of your site that your users may interact with by clicking. If your site contains elements that increase the number of ad clicks without increasing business results for the advertiser, we may consider these clicks to be invalid. "Business results" can range from an online sale to a page view. If we detect enough of these clicks and determine that the risk to our advertisers is too great, we may disable the account. To maintain compliance with our program policies and ensure that your users don't inadvertently click on the ads on your site, we strongly recommend that you move any ad units that are in close proximity to interactive site features.

As always, thanks in advance for your cooperation!

After reading on other forums, they have told me the exact opposite. They say most people will ignore a 728x90 underneath your navbar, I have been using that adsense placement for a year now and it get horrible click through rate. I'm still trying to find the best for my forum Xbox Live Clans - News, Game Reviews, Forum, and Store - Home. I think I'm going to try and make a left column and place them there, see how that works out. I've tried just about everything. :(I swear forums ctr is just horrible

    336x280 isn't a 728x90
