My girlfriends account got banned soon after she allowed me to use her code on my (banned) site.

It doesn't work like that, you'll need to have a brand new bank account, name and identification, plus not too mention you'll need to change your domain name and start fresh all again.

You could try contact the Adsense team and let them know what happened and what you've done to assure them that it won't happen again.

I offered them total access to server logs to show that its prob due to some sort of attack, waiting for a reponse.. amusing part is that i only saw an increase in profit from when i would globally email my users to my forum.. so no really major difference in earnings.

Just get independent sponsors and advertisers man, use a php banner ad system and promote that where you can. You'll make more money with that than with a adsense banner. I got banned from Google adsense too, just because i was making too mutch (honest) money and they didn't like that for some reason.

If your site is ever under attack, you should immediately disable Adsense. A few of the replies here have admitted to or suggested you try something dishonest to keep your Adsense going, which I disagree with.

If done right, you can make more with Adsense than any local banner system. Google also doesn't ban you because you make too much honest money, that's nonsense. They want you to make money, that's how they make money.

More money with adsense, sorry but that's not true for everyone ... maybe for small sites.

I made about $50-$100 a month with good placed adsense ads, now with advertisers about 10x that amount.

With adsense, if you make a lot of money they keep an eye on you, every click has an IP adress in their database, so if a concurent website admin clicks 100x a day on your ads, they can see it and you will be banned. that's exactly what happened on our site and there is little or nothing you can do about it.

you or your staff fed them false clicks. It is totally reasonable to get banned for that.

and yes to what tundra said-- the more you make, the more google makes. they WANT you to make the most money, as they take 50% or more of the ad fee anyway
