Any control over Adwords site targeting on AdSense (publisher) side?

Do we have any control in AdSense over what somebody who wants to target our sites, specifically, via Adwords has to pay to do it? Presumably the advertiser would pay more to put their ad on a site they explicitly choose to advertise on than a random contextual match, right?

there's no control for the publisher, other than that google will try to make you the most money (as they make money off you making money). If they don't think the targetted ad will be good for this impression, they will show a normal contextual ad.

Thanks, brian. Hopefully Google is passing on a decent piece of any premium it charges. So long as there are other appropriate ads Google could serve, I think Google should be charging a premium when they allow an advertiser to show the same ads over and over and over to a site's visitors where there is a likelihood those visitors will get sick of seeing the ads, and potentially the page as a consequence.

If you use Google Admanager you can tweak house inventory to compete with your adsense. If you tweak it just right you can push the price up slightly (as well as push out some site targeted)... well that's what I do.

Thank you, woostar. I have been using adsdaq and having the miserable fill cascade to AdSense. By using Ad Manager, would I be able to effectively set an "ask" for AdSense, cascade to Adsdaq if Adsense can't fill, and set Adsdaq's backup tags to cascade to something else if Adsdaq can't fill?
