Did you guys see this? they just added a new feature to allow for more than 1 channel on any given ad.
But... what's the point? I don't see how this can be helpful at all-- just duplicate results.

I saw this new features, too, and wondered the same thing. In fact, I spent some time adding more channels to my forums so that I can see which placement of ads is getting people's attention. In other words, I separated things out more ...
Here are my new channels with descriptors.
//2006-10-15: TPCQ Archives Header
//2006-10-15: TPCQ Archives Right Side
//2006-10-15: TPCQ Forum Display
//2006-10-15: TPCQ Forum First Post

I hope these are all of the places I modified for adding google adsense code because I could not remember and had initially just used TPCQ Forums ..![]()
It would be quiet usefull if you could add an "ID" (the Thread or Board ID for example) on each AD and filter them later to see in what Thread/Board the Ad was clicked how often ...
If I read Archives ... do you still use the archives? I thought vBSEO would replace that function by rewrite dynamic URLs to static once?
I've used them, it's useful if you're doing things like having lots of sites under one adsense account and you want to track each ad unit for performance.
E.g. In your adsense you have Site 1 channel and a Site 1 300x250 channel etc. Then you can easily see that Site 1 has done $200 today and $150 of that came from the 300x250 ad.
Only problem is it stuffs up some of the totals on the reports as some of the $$ gets counted twice.
i prefix all my channels with my site abbrviation,
ie,
HS_728_leaderboard
CTF_336_inlinepost
But if you had multiple ad units per site and you wanted to see how the overall site was doing then you'd have to add it up by hand
That's were the domain tracking channel comes in![]()
