Ad after last post

Anybody got any ideas of how to add an ad (leaderboard) after the last post in a thread?

from a CTR point of view, i'd suggest against this... it doesn't perform well from my experience.

otherwise, just ad the ad code at the top of the footer template.

I would have thought it would have been a good place to put it as more people would see it after reading a thread. Does anyone know how to do it anyway just so I can give it a test run.

The best Adsense position on forums is usually at the top between your header and forum content
